Mission Statement
Trinity Life Support Community Service District’s Mission is to provide the highest level of advanced life support pre-hospital emergency medical services to our community, and to assist in the education and training of our local fire departments, schools, and the general public on health and safety issues
Trinity Life Support Community Service District is a special district established July 2021, transitioning from a non-profit agency that operated from 1993 to 2021. We serve a large rural/frontier area, focused on safe response, high quality advanced life support care, and safe and dependable transport. Our agency and mission statement are changing, but the goals remain the same.
Trinity County is 3,125 square miles of forested mountainous terrain sheltering small rural communities, containing large areas of wilderness, with wild and scenic river frontage winding along the highway. Conditions are challenging and rewarding. Transports can be short to local Trinity Hospital in Weaverville, or 60+ miles.
Our ambulance crews (newly transitioned and welcomed as employees of Mountain Communities Healthcare District) are providing emergency care that makes a difference in patient outcomes and in their in quality of life.
This team of caregivers shares a commitment to provide the best care, to do the right thing to help each patient. Our role is to help them do that.
With the move of staffing to MCHD, the ambulance district focus is the provision of safe and functional ambulances, equipment, and ambulance stations to support patient care. It is our goal to strongly support EMS training needs for our service area. This is something we’ve long been passionate about, and with the amazing support of Mountain Communities Healthcare District in providing the EMS staffing, we will move forward in short and long term goals for EMS facilities.
